“Because of physiological changes in certain hormone producing metabolic pathways during aerobic and anerobic exercise, swimmers are the most sexually active athletes.” -Time Magazine -

“Swimmers and water polo players are great lovers. Their strong hip flexors and abdominal muscles give them stamina that helps maintain a very enjoyable rhythm in the bedroom.” -Playboy Magazine -

Backstrokers do it on their backs,

Breaststrokers do it underwater,

Not Exactly a Bed of Roses

It’s been four months now. It hasn’t been easy. Life really isn’t a bed of roses. They say home is where the heart is. But what if my heart is with home, but home has changed? There is a different kind of energy lingering in this place called home. Does it have a name? I think it’s called Sorrow.

Paying our respect during Ching Ming.

Does this darkness have a name? This cruelty, this hatred. How did it find us? Did it steal into our lives or did we seek it out and embrace it? What happened to us? That we now send our children into the world like we send young men into war, hoping for their safe return. But knowing that some will be lost along the way. When did we lose our way? Consumed by the shadows, swallowed whole by the darkness. Does this darkness have a name? Is it your name?   - One Tree Hill S03E16 With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Sleep -

Some of us escape the pain of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we’re looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past, and sometimes we bury our regret by promising to change our own ways. But our biggest regrets are not for the things we did, but, for the things we didn’t do. Things we didn’t say that could’ve saved someone that we care about. Especially when we can see the dark storm that’s headed their way. -One Tree Hill S04E07 All These Things That I’ve Done –

A lot of things happening in this place called home. Deep in silence beneath the naked eyes. A silent energy of hopelessness, remorse, pain and regret. With tired eyes, tired minds, tired souls..we sleep.

Love, Lost & Marriage

I always get really emo after watching One Tree Hill (OTH). There’s just so much soul in the characters, the script and the story. If I could write a book or a movie screen play, I would wanna write a story as meaningful as OTH. A story so beautiful that it would touch the lives of people who read or watch it.

If I could write a story, I would wanna write about love.

Puppy love. The innocence of hope. The tenderness of the heart. The one hundred percent kindness in giving wholeheartedly.

Epic love. The courage to love. The willingness to take risk and make sacrifices. The commitment to promises made. Willingness to see the beauty in imperfections.

The unconditional love. Paternal love. Motherly instincts. Protective streaks.

I would write about lost. The pain of lost love. The pain from unexpected death. The regret of undoing. The sufferings of suffering. The hopelessness of forgotten hopes.

I would write about marriage. The poetry in the beauty of first moments. The hope of a new beginning. Patience and tolerance.

I would write about the myriad facades of life chapters, but I would begin with love.

Why do I wanna write about love? Because in the end, all that really matters, and the one thing that keeps us going, is… Love.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever. The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Suicide Netted

Read about this young fella who wanted to commit suicide.

So he kicked open a window at a restaurant in Genting and jumped out.

Even fell through the rooftop of Genting Skyway station.

But fortunately (or unfortunately) for him, he landed on the safety net.

In a dramatic scene straight out of Chinese dramas, he called his father and told him he was gonna die and then switched off his phone.

Only to be coaxed out of his death wish by fireman offering him a fried chicken and a cigi.

Priceless!

I guess it’s true what they say. When it’s not your time, it’s simply just not your time. And some people fight so hard everyday just to survive.

When you buy RM8 airfare …….

What can you do while enduring a 3 1/2 hours flight in a low budget plane with no in-flight entertainment and possibly the crappiest food?

1. Camwhore.

2. Eat duty free chocolates.

3. Sleep.

4. Wake up… try to catch a glimpse of the air hostess’ much talked about controversial ‘tunnel’ because of their short skirts.

5. Eat more chocolates.

6. Read in-flight magazine (note of caution: May cause a terrible air sickness when there’s turbulence because the plane feels abnormally shaky).

7. Try to sleep again. By this time, the neck is already sore from the hard cushion.

9. Study their menu & contemplate on buying their RM7 Nasi Lemak. But may decide to save it for RM11 Starbucks instead. (sidenote: some smart alec should really look into suing AK for misrepresentation of their menu pictures and they failed to print “pictures are for illustration purposes only”!!!)

10. By the 3rd hour, stare cock at the guy next to you for ripping out a silent fart while pretending to be asleep.
